Our mission
Prostate cancer is one of the most common and most preventable tragedies facing Hoosier men — yet too many go unscreened simply because no one told them they should be. The Merritt Foundation is actively championing prostate cancer awareness, funding education and early detection efforts that reach men before a treatable diagnosis becomes a devastating one.
Where we are now

This is a newer focus for the foundation rather than a body of past legislation. Jim Merritt is
actively working to direct resources toward minority-owned businesses and affordable housing in
underserved Indiana communities, and impact updates on that work will be posted here as it develops.
